Our client, a leading regional transport authority with a constant eye on innovation and excellence, wanted to craft the next generation smart mobility strategy and uplift its services and business capabilities and to improve commuter experience, operational excellence and regulatory innovation.

We kick-start the engagement by conducting a comprehensive current state assessment to identify the key stakeholder needs and capability gaps across smart mobility strategy, governance, services, operating model, technology and enablers, we also conducted extensive benchmarks targeting key transport operators and regulators worldwide to shed light on the best practices and trends.

We then defined the target strategic priorities and supporting capabilities and enablers and a 5-year roadmap to translate the strategy into an actionable agenda. The strategy included key innovative trends to be piloted and ,if successful, adopted including micro-mobility, MaaS platforms and multi-purpose UAVs.

As a result of our work our client was able to take the decision to approve the smart mobility business case and craft a new pathway towards innovation and a new set of technology capabilities to enhance commuter experience, operational efficiency and sector regulation.
